Marble Floor

This project was part of the apartment refurbishment in Antibes, Sth France. Apart from the bathroom (showed on other project page) the entire floor area of the apartment was to be laid with 52m of Italian polished marble in brick bond pattern, flowing through four areas. As well as laying the floor tiles a 150mm marble plinth was also laid around the room edges, following the brick bond pattern. The underside of the tiles were fluted to allow for air-flow so they could be laid butted up against eachother with no gaps or groutline as in accordance with the design of the tile.
