Keeping Norfolk Homes Beautiful...

Porcelain Floor

This project in Middleton was initially for me to tile the kitchen floor in 600mm polished porcelain. As the job progressed I was asked to install a porcelain plinth instead of skirting boards and follow the tiles and plinth into the conservatory and downstairs hall. When I initially set the floor out I took this into consideration so that I could flow through the doorways. After completion of the flooring I went on to prep and paint the kitchen, conservatory, upstairs & downstairs hallway and office including all doors, skirting architrave and stair balustrades (see painting projects).
First few Porcelain tiles laid on the kitchen floor.
Kitchen floor laid and 100mm plinth wet-cut and installed around the edges.
Going out into the hall, note centalised tile and cuts around the acrchitrave
Cutting around the bottom step in the hallway.
Finished kitchen floor, sealed, grouted and polished, also walls prepped and painted in Mocha.
Utility end of the kitchen finished and walls prepped and painted.
Conservatory end of the kitchen finished prepped and painted. I also laid the granite window sills.
Hallway finished showing walls prepped and painted in Hessian and doors and achitrave painted in white acrylic.
